Kick-off Meeting in Vilnius

The Kick-off Meeting took place from 27.-29.01.2026 in Vilnius, Lithuania. LNF – the Lithuanian Disability Forum hosted the partnership and kindly shared their experiences in mainstreaming an awareness for the needs of persons with disabilities into civil protection. They also arranged meetings with representatives from the Lithuanian Ministry of Interior, the Firefighter Academy, the municipality of Vilnius and the Red Cross. The project consortium had the opportunity to ask questions and discuss the experiences in this field with the Lithuanian representatives. Very valuable information was passed on and helps us to shape the project’s outline. The next steps wil be focus group interviews with different groups of persons with disabilities and expert interviews with representatives of civil protection organisations.
